"Poor Communication Between Customer Service and Shipping"
I made my order at 9 in the morning. When I called around 1 to cancel, they assured me it would be taken care of and that I’d receive a confirmation email. That email never showed up. Later that day, I called again and was told it might take a bit longer. I waited a whole day and called again, and Mike confirmed that my order was indeed cancelled and a refund would be processed. But then, at 5 PM the following day, I received an email stating it wasn’t cancelled. It took them two days to inform me of that, even though they couldn’t tell me yesterday when I called. Today, I was informed that my order was packed yesterday at 10 AM, but when I called at 1, they had no clue. I called again later, and still no one had any information. And here I am today, still without any shipping details.

"CAUTION TO SHOPPERS"
DISASTER! Seriously, steer clear of this site. It took ages to receive my order, and they ended up sending the incorrect air conditioning unit. Reaching out to them for a return has been a total hassle. I even had to bring my credit card company into the mix. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!

"Regret not checking Trustpilot first!"
I really wish I had looked at Trustpilot before making a purchase here! They claim to ship everything the same day you order, and I opted for a delivery option that guarantees arrival in 6-9 business days. But guess what? After 11 days (which is 8 business days), I received an email saying that the shipping label was just created for my order. When I asked about the delivery timeline, I got a snarky reply: "You chose 6-9 business day shipping, so it should arrive in that timeframe." Total blunder buying from this seller.

"Smoke Detectors USI-5304 Review"
I picked up 7 of the USI-5304 smoke detectors on December 21, 2021, for $11.99 each, and shipping was on the house. They showed up just like they were supposed to, with a production date from 2021, and they’re good for a decade according to the maker. I even took a screenshot just in case I need to dispute anything...

"UNRELIABLE VENDOR NOT HONORING WARRANTY"
I bought 10 LED bulbs from this seller back in September 2020. These bulbs are supposed to last for 5 years. Now, just 15 months later, 2 of them have stopped working. When I reached out for a warranty replacement, they asked me to cover the shipping costs for the new bulbs and also for sending back the faulty ones. They didn’t even mention how much the shipping would be, but it could end up costing as much as the two bulbs themselves.

I strongly advise against buying from this vendor. They don’t stand by their customers and are just out to make a quick buck.

"Avoid Homelectrical at All Costs!"
I purchased a bathroom heater from them back in February 2021. They claimed shipping would take around 14 days. After waiting a month with no heater, I reached out to them. That’s when I found out the product was 'on backorder'—a phrase I’d come to know all too well. A month later, the heater finally showed up. Our electrician came to install it, and guess what? We discovered we needed a thermostat for it. What a waste of an electrician's visit (and it wasn’t free!). I ordered the thermostat, but it didn’t arrive. Turns out, it was also 'on backorder'—again, a first for me. It still didn’t show up. Then I was told it was 'on backorder' for a second time, with a new expected arrival in July 2021! I started this whole process in February 2021, six months prior! I called homelectrical to check if they had a compatible thermostat available, and they said they did. It came, but guess what? It wasn’t compatible! Another wasted visit from the electrician. I returned that one and finally got a thermostat that worked. For the first time, we could turn on the heater. But by then, it was August 2021, and it didn’t even work! I arranged to send back both the thermostat and heater. Homelectrical charged me $28 plus change because I didn’t return it within 30 days!!! They insisted it was returned under warranty, so I had to cover shipping. Eventually, I got a new heater and thermostat. Now it was November 2021! The electrician came back, installed everything, and it finally worked. Yay! But it took a whopping 9 months and cost a fortune since my electrician doesn’t work for free—he’s got a family to feed. Homelectrical kept saying how sorry they were but never offered to reimburse the electrician for his wasted time or the shipping costs after their delays made it impossible to return the faulty items within 30 days. I asked multiple times to speak with management. No luck. Finally, customer service told me an owner would call me the next day. That never happened. Instead, I got an email from a supervisor with the same old apologies and the claim that the merchandise was returned under warranty after 30 days.

What I learned: Never, under any circumstances, do business with homelectrical! They made a hefty profit of about 60% on my order and were completely unwilling to address the issues they caused. Seriously, just steer clear of homelectrical!

"AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!"
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! Even if you stumble upon a slightly lower price, it ain't worth the hassle. I ordered a couple of carbon detectors about a month back, and they kept delaying the delivery date. When I made the purchase, they promised it would show up in 7-10 days, which turned out to be a total fib. After that, I reached out for a refund, and the woman on the line said it would take another 7-10 days. At that point, I just decided to get my credit card company involved. First off, they shouldn't charge me until the item is shipped. Secondly, I was basically told my refund wasn't a priority because they were too swamped.

"Avoid This Company at All Costs"
I got one of the 26 LED bulbs with the lens completely broken. The following day, I shot them a pic of the faulty bulb. It took a whopping 6 weeks and 7 emails to finally sort this out. Their customer service is honestly the absolute worst I've ever dealt with! Seriously, don't buy from this company. There are plenty of better options out there. Just steer clear of this one! Their customer support is downright awful! I won't be ordering from them again!

"Deceptive Practices"
Deceptive practices. I ordered an in-wall heater, but then I got a call from home electrical.com before it shipped. They said there was a mistake on their website, but they offered to sell me the same heater for an extra $125.00 over the listed price. Is this even allowed? Come on, home electrical, do the right thing!

"Warranty on LED bulbs from this company is a joke!"
The warranty offered by this company for their LED shop light bulbs is totally worthless! Their website claims that the Forest Lighting bulbs come with a 5-year warranty, but when one of our bulbs stopped working after just 2 and a half years, we realized we should've bought another case to cover this. Seriously? Forest Lighting is based in China, and I'm not sure about HomElectrical, but I won't be doing business with them again.

"Misleading Product Images"
Recently, my company placed an order for Western CGA-580 Male Regulator Inlet Nuts, specifically cat #WEE-692P. The image on the website showed both the nut and the o-ring nipple. So, what did we actually receive? Just the nuts! When I reached out to customer service, they pointed out the fine print stating that "image may not depict product actual color, inclusions and accessories."

Seriously? What’s the point of having a product image then? The o-ring nipple isn’t just some extra; it’s a crucial part of the product that usually comes as a set with the nut.

Having spent over 40 years in manufacturing, I can honestly say this is a first for me! Sure, I get that industrial product photos might be generic due to varying sizes, but this is just plain unreasonable.

I had to hunt down another supplier for the o-ring nipple separately and finally placed an order with them.

If you decide to buy from this company, just be cautious—the pictures might not reflect what you actually receive.

And don’t even get me started on returning items to them—no thanks!
